New Single-Family Home Development Coming To Anthem
New development happening north of the Anthem Post Office off of 43rd Ave near the Outlets. Pulte homes is moving forward with plans to develop a 202 single family home community. These homes in this location would put them under the Anthem Parkside Community Association. The ACC has requested that Pulte publicize and host public meetings to present the project to the community. Meetings are scheduled at 6 p.m., Sept. 9 and Sept. 14, at the Anthem Civic Building.
The topic is being scheduled as an agenda item at the Sept. 16 ACC Board of Directors meeting at 6:30 p.m. The meeting, which is open to the public, is at the Anthem Civic Building. Pulte and the ACC strongly urge all residents to attend these meetings to voice their opinions and bring up any concerns or thoughts they may have on these plans.
Residents are encouraged to attend these meetings to share their thoughts on the new plans. The ACC and Pulte plan to weigh all opinions and plan out to meet the demands of amenities that Anthem current offers all residents while also making sure that the new community will help with the growth of Anthem itself.
Board of Directors President Tim Fyke had this to say, “Pulte/Del Webb and Lennar Homes has set into motion the possibility of annexing this development, and the associated parks and open spaces into the ACC and Parkside HOA Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs).”
What are your thoughts on the new homes being developed? Do you think a new 202 single family home community would impact Anthem in a negative way? Or do you believe it could help in the growth of Anthem as a major community in Phoenix? New residents could be a help to the many small businesses around Anthem that could use the boost in customers.
